Voted The Southern Coromandel's BEST Tourist Attraction

New Zealand's Ultimate Farm Experience!

Bullswool Farm Park Karangahake

Warm greetings to all our friends

We have taken the very hard decision to close the Farm Park temporarily.

We plan to use the time we’re closed to look at our systems to ensure we can offer a safe environment for all our visitors during the time of COVID-19.  We also plan to use this time as opportunity to tackle a few projects that have been sitting on the “to do” list for a while!

These are challenging times for all of us. We are in the business of providing fun, and are reminded at this time that providing our children with fun, sunshine, meaningful activity and laughter is just as important at boosting our immune systems as practical forms of self care.

Much love from our family to yours

<3 The Bullswools

PS:  Under the circumstances, the expiry dates on all vouchers purchased from us no longer apply. They will honoured whatever the date on them 🙂

We enjoy welcoming visitors to our beautiful farm, set in the Southern Coromandel and minutes from the famous Karangahake Gorge.

Home to three generations of our family, the farm has a diverse and interesting array of rarebreed farm animals, working farm museums and an award-winning Native Bird Reserve. There is so much to see, do, explore and learn about! The Farm offers an authentic taste of Kiwi farm life, and is one of New Zealand's most beloved and iconic rural experiences.

We are located at the gateway to the Coromandel Peninsula, close to Hobbiton and the Hauraki Rail Trail, and great halfway stop between Auckland Airport and Rotorua. We are also an easy day trip from Auckland, Hamilton and Tauranga.

Karangahake Native Bird Reserve. Learn about native New Zealand birds, trees and aquatic life, and about the fascinating history of the Karangahake Gorge’s first miners and kauri bushmen.

Visit for an hour or an afternoon!

Bullswool Farm Heritage Park
offers several museums:

Sheep Shed Display
Early NZ Milking Shed
Kauri Museum
Early NZ Farm Tools
Working Horses of NZ

We offer an unforgettable hands-on rural experience, set in beautiful farmland. Follow the walking tracks and get up close to our many rare-breed farm animals.

All are friendly and can be handfed. An unmissable Kiwi rural adventure!
